Killzone: Shadow Fall to get free multiplayer DLC maps post-launch

As is tradition for most games these days, Killzone: Shadow Fall will be supported post-launch will downloadable content. The difference with Sony's PS4 exclusive is that the slew of new maps released after launch will be completely free of charge.

Guerrilla Games confirmed the free DLC on their website where they promised "extensive plans" to support the highly anticipated shooter.

Shadow Fall will initially ship with 10 multiplayer maps at launch on the PS4. While no specific dates were mentioned, Guerrilla Games did note that it has parts of its team working on expansions for Shadow Fall, meaning the DLC maps may be ready sooner rather than later.

Yesterday, a new trailer for Shadow Fall was released, highlighting the game's multiplayer and the ability to build your own Warzone. Check out the trailer below.
