Kinect Star Wars Limited Edition Xbox 360 bundle coming April 3rd, along with game

Microsoft's Major Nelson confirmed the Kinect Star Wars Xbox 360 bundle, which was teased a long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away), will release April 3rd along with the Kinect Star Wars game.

Retailing for $449, the limited edition Kinect Star Wars bundle includes a custom R2-D2 themed Xbox 360 (320GB hard drive) console equipped with custom sounds as well as the first ever custom white Kinect sensor.  The bundle also includes a custom C-3PO-themed Xbox 360 wireless gold-plated controller and, of course, the actual Kinect Star Wars game.

Despite such an impressive bundle, the actual Kinect Star Wars game hasn't exactly lived up to expectations.  After some poor showings at gaming conventions last year, the game was delayed to ensure its "full potential".  Finally, the game is expected to release along with the bundle on April 3, 2012.  Check out our most recent impressions of Kinect Star Wars.

Although the release date for the Kinect Star Wars Limited Edition bundle has been announced, Amazon has yet to update the release date.  However, you can still pre-order it for the guaranteed price of $449.99.
