Kirby's longtime nemesis King Dedede has been revealed as the 21st playable character in Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. title for Wii U and 3DS. The newest character was revealed over on the Super Smash Bros. site, along with a few images of Dedede in action — some of which you can view in the attached gallery.
Nintendo has slowly been introducing new characters to the roster of Super Smash Bros., but we've still yet to hear an actual release date for the game. We know it's coming some time in 2014, but a more specific window would be nice. In other Super Smash news, we also learned this week that the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game will feature different unlockable trophies.
