In an effort to calm some worries that Destiny: The Taken King's raid, King's Fall, won't be ready at launch, Bungie has taken to Twitter to ensure that the raid is already completed.
While Bungie still hasn't given a specific timeframe for when the raid will become available, I'm assuming they'll follow a schedule similar to that of the Vault of Glass release. Similar to King's Fall, Vault of Glass wasn't available at the launch of Destiny, but was patched in and made available just a week after. The brief wait period gave players a chance to obtain the gear recommended for the extremely difficult raid, so I'm assuming Bungie is doing the same with King's Fall.
While some in the media have been quick to pounce on Bungie for this latest bit of news, I actually don't mind a short delay in the raid's release. With so much changing in Year Two starting with The Taken King, the extra time to adjust will be much appreciated — especially if you're just getting back in the swing of things.
Destiny: The Taken King is set to release on September 15.
