Kingdom Hearts 2 HD hinted at by Nomura

It looks like Kingdom Hearts 2 will be joining the first game in getting an HD remake. We already know the original Kingdom Hearts, which released for PS2 back in 2002, will be re-released for the PS3 in a bundle that also includes portable titles Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days. But what about Kingdom Hearts 2?

Speaking to Famitsu (via Gematsu), game director Tetsuya Nomura admitted that it'd be "unusual if there wasn't" a high-definition of Kingdom Hearts 2 coming later.

As of right now, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX is set for a 2013 release in Japan only, but it's expected to come to the West as well. Sony hasn't yet announced anything, but Disney did recently hint at an upcoming "big title" expected to arrive in Spring of next year.
