Speaking to Japanese magazine Dengeki PlayStation, Kingdom Hearts 3 game director Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that the highly anticipated game has a release date. Just don't expect him to announce it yet.
"We've reached an agreement," Nomura said, "but I still can't say anything."
It's disappointing, no doubt, but on the bright side Nomura revealed that more details will be shared later this year.
"I plan to give new information at the Kingdom Hearts Fan Event that will be held on the 3rd of November."
Whether or not these new details will include a release date remains to be seen, but we're excited nonetheless. At E3 this past week, Square Enix showed off a brand new gameplay trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3, and it looks absolutely amazing (though, admittedly, I am biased towards the franchise). Originally, I had thought we're still ways off from seeing Kingdom Hearts 3's release, but after watching the latest gameplay footage, I think the game could be closer than originally thought.
