Kingdom Hearts has never look as good as it does in these new KH3 screenshots

At E3 last week, Square Enix blew our minds with the debut of a new gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3. In case you missed it, the gameplay trailer (embedded above) showed off all sorts of fascinating new features, including the brand new world of Tangled.

While the inclusion of Tangled, plus an all-new Keyblade that seemingly transforms into dual-wielding pistols and a massive cannon-type weapon, is exciting, I think I was most impressed with just how polished the game looks since I last saw it. Although KH3 still has no solid release date, it's clear Square Enix has made tremendous progress on the game since it was last announced.

And if you thought that gameplay trailer was impressive, just wait until you see these high-res screenshots showing off the new Keyblade pistols, the Electric Light Parade ability, and a brief gilmpse at Rapunzel's Tower in Tangled.
