Kingdom Hearts Unchained Key mobile game coming to North America

Before Square Enix treated us to a new Kingdom Hearts 3 gameplay trailer, they first trolled us with the announcement That Kingdom Hearts Uncharted Key will be getting a Western release.

Unchained Key is the first Kingdom Hearts game to be developing specifically for smartphones, and will be released for iOS and Android devices.

According to Square Enix, Unchained Key's storyline will be a direct link to that of Kingdom Hearts 3. As always, the game will feature appearances from numerous iconic Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse and Snow White, only this time the visual style adopts a cel-shaded look.

Kingdom Hearts Unchained Key will make its debut in Japan in 2015; however, a release window for its Western release has not been announced. It also looks like Square Enix will also be dropping the word "Key" from its title in the West.
