Rhode Island has earned roughly $713,000 from sales of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, the only game that 38 Studios got to release before it went bankrupt last year in June.
That money comes in addition to the $430,000 from an auction on items from Curt Schilling's studio, according to the Providence Journal.
38 Studios owed money to the state when it failed to pay back a loan. Its financial problems ultimately led to its closure.
The developer was working on a massively multiplayer online game called Copernicus at the time.
