Spoiler alert! If you're not caught up on Game of Thrones yet and don't want to be spoiled, turn back now. Still around? OK, it's your fault now.
So Jon Snow is alive, though not all is well. Frankly there was no way the writers were going to commit to that death, given the fan backlash that was going to follow. Apparently, keeping a lid on his resurrection was a tough thing, especially for the man himself Kit Harington. Unfortunately, it seems that he didn't do the best job of keeping the secret.
Harington appeared on Jimmy Fallon last night and admitted that he didn't exactly keep his word to the showrunners regarding Snow's fate. After saying he just kept it just to family and his girlfriend, Rose Leslie, Kit eventually cracked and admitted that he used the secret to get himself out of a speeding ticket.
"He said, 'Look, there are two ways we can do this: You can either follow me back to the police station now and I book you in, or you can tell me whether you live in the next series of Game of Thrones.'"
Apparently, the officer wasn't kidding (maybe), but regardless Harington didn't take any chances.
"So I looked at him and went, 'I-I'm alive next season.'"
Turns out, it was enough.
"He says, 'Hmm. On your way, Lord Commander. Keep the speed down this far south of the Wall.'"
So to all Kit Harington look-a-likes out there, you might be able to get out of a ticket by using this to your advantage.
