Konami joins Zynga, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection coming to Vita

Today Konami announced on their Facebook page that the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection would be arriving on the PlayStation Vita handheld this summer.

The release will integrate "unique touch-screen elements" and feature "TRANSFARRING support compatible with the PS3 version of MGS HD Collection," meaning save files will be transferable between systems upon the version's release.

Konami shared a host of screenshots for the Vita version after making the announcement.

Japanese development and publishing division Konami Digital Entertainment also confirmed its new partnership with Zynga "to bring Konami social games to new and old fans on both Facebook and Zynga.com."

Are you looking forward to playing the MGS HD Collection on the go? What do you think about Konami joining hands with social network game giant Zynga?
