Video Game Series
Features Mickey and His Pals In Team and Extreme Sports

 

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. –
May 9, 2002 –

KONAMI CORPORATION and Disney Interactive today announced an agreement to
develop and market a video game series of sports product tentatively titled
Disney All-Star Sports,

featuring
Mickey and his pals. The series will feature both team sports and extreme
sports games, starring popular Disney characters as athletic all-stars. The
six sport agreement includes;
football, basketball, soccer, snowboarding, skateboarding and motocross, which
will be available only on Nintendo Game Cube(tm)
and Nintendo Game Boy(r) Advance(tm)
this Fall.

 

Combining the high-energy
fun of each sport with the storytelling, humor and imagination of Disney,
Disney All-Star Sports

puts an
extreme twist on sports console games, helping players get into the action
with their favorite animated athletes.  Disney All-Star Sports

will deliver
arcade-style action, multiplayer gaming, stunning graphics and a hip new
attitude for some of the best-loved Disney personalities, including Mickey,
Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Max and Big
Bad Pete
