It’s pretty hard to believe that the Suikoden series has already spanned more than a decade, being released across over seven different platforms -eight if you count its PlayStation Network release- and will be turning 15 on December 15 this year….and we still have yet to see a proper sequel to Suikoden V!
The soundtrack will span over 25 Blu-spec discs and will include 650 remastered songs. The tracks will be pulled from the following titles:
-Genso Suikoden (1995)
-Genso Suikoden II (1998)
-Genso Suikoden Gaiden Vol.1 (2000)
-Genso Suikoden Gaiden Vol.2 (2001)
-Genso Suikoden III (2002)
-Genso Suikoden IV (2004)
-Rhapsodia/Suikoden Tactics (2005)
-Genso Suikoden V (2006)
-Genso Suikoden Tierkreis (2008)
The soundtrack is scheduled for release on March 24, 2011 for ¥25,000 and will be sold exclusively through Konami Style. The box set will come with a special edition booklet. Pre-orders will be taken up until December 15.
