Konami Ships Track & Field Challenge to Retail
Store Nationwide

Compete in a Variety of World Class Sports
Events with New TV Plug and Play Video Game

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today
announced it has shipped Track & Field Challenge, an original TV Plug and Play
video game that lets children compete in a virtual decathlon. Using a custom
gaming mat, players will only need a television and a competitive spirit to take
part in more than seven different world class sports events.

A Plug and Play video game, Track & Field
Challenge connects directly to any TV without the use of a game console to
deliver hours of competitive fun. Featuring more than seven different track and
field events such as the 100 meter dash, javelin throw and high Jump, players
can run in place and jump on the gaming mat to recreate the on-screen action as
if they were taking part in an actual decathlon. Through a variety of actions
that can be performed on the gaming mat, Track & Field Challenge immerses
players in the competitive atmosphere of world class track and field while also
promoting an active lifestyle.

The game also features three unlockable events as
well as the ability for players to monitor how many calories they have burned at
the end of each gameplay session. Each of the game’s events can be played
simultaneously with a friend using just one gaming mat.

Track & Field Challenge is available for an MSRP
of $29.99. For more information, please visit
