Earlier this week, news of L.A. Noire's revival hit the internet, and we were all pretty pumped about it. However, Nintendo Switch owners looking to grab a physical copy should be prepared to pony up a little bit more than their Xbox One and PS4 counterparts. Much like RiME before it, L.A. Noire is going to cost $10 on Nintendo Switch due to the manufacturing costs of the cartridge.
The game's page recently appeared on Rockstar's official website, revealing the price discrepancy. Physical copies of L.A. Noire will go for $49.99 on Nintendo Switch and $39.99 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Digital versions of L.A. Noire will remain the same across all platforms, but with the Switch's minuscule Hard Drive space (32 GBs), many players may find themselves forced to go the physical route.
The Nintendo Switch edition of L.A. Noire comes with all of the game's previously released DLC, as well as new collectibles and detective suits to unlock, each of which come with unique special abilities. There will also be some Switch-exclusive features such as gyroscopic, gesture-based controls, HD rumble and new wide and over-the-shoulder camera angles, plus contextual touch screen controls for portable detective work.
L.A. Noire releases on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PS4 on November 14th, 2017.
