La-Mulana remake for PC has arrived in North America

The English language Playism site has officially dropped in North America. With it come some pretty awesome indie games, so check out what's on tap and see if there's anything you like! The cool thing about Playism is that now we're getting even more indie gaming goodness, because games never before released in North America will appear on the digital download service. So freakin' sweet!

Aside from the great news regarding Playism, today's also a special day because … the remake of La-Mulana has finally arrived over here! Yeah! The game features 2D platforming action inspired by classic games of the NES era, and it's priced at $14.99.

It seemed as though all hope was lost when it was announced that a La-Mulana remake would not be launching on the North American WiiWare service due to some awful mix-ups. Thankfully, developer Nigoro stuck to its guns and continued to press onward. Now we have La-Mulana — the version that launched on WiiWare in Japan — available for PC.

It's a big day indeed.
