Lara Croft is heading to Siberia in Rise of the Tomb Raider

Since its reveal at E3 last year, not much has been said about Rise of the Tomb Raider. Other than it being exclusive to Xbox, we don't know much else. That'll change soon, as GameInformer announced today that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be its cover story for the March issue.

In the announcement, the site shared a few details, including the setting and a brief overview of the plot. According to the report, Rise of the Tomb Raider will be set in "the frozen wilds of Siberia." It will see Lara Craft, who has grown into quite the adventure seeker, on the hunt for the lost secrets of immortality.

"Now Lara will have to hunt and craft new survival gear in order to take on larger puzzle tombs and a deadly new enemy, a secret society that has been lying in the shadows since the last game," the site teases.

Rise of the Tomb Raider still has a "holiday season" release window for Xbox One and Xbox 360; however, the studio still hasn't ruled out the possibility of it coming to other consoles later on.
