Yesterday it was revealed that Nintendo Power would be no more. Though details were scarce, Future Publishing stated that Nintendo was "difficult to work with" and had no interest or intention of keeping the gaming magazine going.
The Big N spoke up about the matter and elaborated on the magazine's short future on its Facebook page, saying: "We can confirm that the December issue of Nintendo Power will be its last. To celebrate Nintendo Power’s long history, please share a memory or favorite story. For Nintendo Power subscription inquiries, please visit nintendopower.com/customerservice."
So I guess that's it. It's a shame that one of the few long-running gaming magazines is being canned. Nintendo Power has been around since 1988, providing entertaining video game reading material for a bunch of folks.
Nintendo Power, we'll miss ya.
