Last night’s The Walking Dead finally revealed the fate of [redacted]

We finally learn if Glenn Rhee is dead or not

If you're reading this, I'm going to assume you know there's already spoilers regarding the life or death of one of The Walking Dead's most adored characters — Glenn Rhee.

The mystery surrounding Glenn has persisted through three episodes since he and Nicholas were swarmed by a horde of zombies at the end of Episode 3. While many assumed Glenn would somehow make it out alive, it wasn't confirmed until last night's episode, titled "Heads Up."

As it turns out, it was indeed Nicholas' corpse being ripped apart by the walkers, while Glenn crawled under a nearby dumpster. So yes, Glenn is alive.

The reveal came in the opening moments of Episode 7, and given the mix of evidence and leaks we were presented with over the past few weeks, it wasn't much of a surprise. Still, it's no doubt some much-welcomed news for fans of The Walking Dead, particularly of the character Glenn.

"It proves this world can take the story of the good guy winning sometimes," Yeun said afterward on The Talking Dead, the aftershow recap hosted by Chris Hardwick.

Yeun was joined via satellite by EP Scott Gimple who added, “It was important to do a story this year about uncertainty, and that the audience would share that uncertainty that the characters had."

Yeun also shared the excitement for his character's fate on Twitter as well.
