In "Happy Holidays" post earlier this week, developer Supergiant Games reflected on a wonderful 2015, highlighting a few recent announcements and revealing the sales of their two games while thanking all of those who helped.
For starters, Transistor (2014), the sci-fi themed action RPG, has sold more than one million copies, while Bastion (2011), which has more of a fantasy feel, has now sold more than three million copies. If you've yet to play either of these games, you'll be happy to know that both are heavily discounted during the Steam Winter Sale.
"As we look ahead to 2016, our goal as a studio remains the same as when we were just getting started in the living room of a house in San Jose back in 2009: to stick together as a small team, and keep making games that spark your imagination."
Best of luck to Supergiant Games as we head into the New Year. I can't wait to see what this small group of talented developers have in store for us.
