Latest PlayStation app update brings awesome new feature that’ll make your life easier

A new update on the PlayStation app has a pretty cool feature added to it in order to make it easier for mobile users to redeem codes via the online store. We all know the struggle of trying to copy and paste a code into the store which forces us to leave the app and re-enter it. As big of an inconvenience that it is, it's still not as bad as having to write the code down then transfer it over back to the app because copy and paste isn't supported on your mobile format of the site.

That's all coming to an end with this new update that allows you to redeem a code simply by scanning it, similar to the Kinect on Xbox One. Other new features also show messages from broadcasting to show up on the second screen a la SmartGlass. The rest of the new features can be seen below:

Android
PS Store can now be opened within PlayStation App.
PlayStation Network Card numbers and promotion codes can now be entered within PlayStation App.
Comments that you receive while broadcasting from your PS4 system can now be displayed on the second screen.
iOS:
