Launch trailer for Wolfenstein: Youngblood is all about excessive Nazi killing

Killing Nazis... Now with a friend!

Bethesda has released the launch trailer for their Wolfenstein co-op spin-off title Wolfenstein: Youngblood. The budget co-op game is out in less than an hour on PC and launches tomorrow on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Watch the trailer here!

After three successful Wolfenstein titles, Bethesda decided to create a co-op spin-off with Wolfenstein: Youngblood. In a series first, players won’t assume the role of B.J. Blazkowicz but instead his twin daughters Jess or Soph. Set in the 1980s, Youngblood takes place two decades after Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. After their father goes missining in Paris, the girls take it on themselves to find him  and kill Nazis on the way. Lots of Nazis.

The world is full of monsters—but as a Blazkowicz, killing monsters is what you do. Embark on an action-packed, blood-soaked journey as Jess and Soph Blazkowicz to find your missing father, BJ, and kill every Nazi in Paris. Wolfenstein: Youngblood is the biggest and most open-ended Wolfenstein game in the series, and the first Wolfenstein game that can be played in online multiplayer co-op or single player with an AI companion.

Youngblood is designed as a co-op shooter where each player takes the role of one of the Blazkowicz sisters but it can also be played solo. There, an AI takes over the remaining sister. Bethesda also offers a really cool feature with the Buddy Pass which is included in the Deluxe Edition. With this Buddy Pass, owners can invite one friend who doesn’t own the game, to play the entirety of Youngblood in co-op. Pretty sweet deal for co-op aficionados. The best thing, the Deluxe Edition is only $39.99 with the standard version retailing at $29.99. So the savings by going to the $10 more expensive Deluxe Edition is even more enticing.

You can purchase the game on Steam or pre-order for consoles on its website.
