LawBreakers is free to play this weekend on Steam

LawBreakers, Cliff Bleszinski's latest game is Steam's next free weekend title, coinciding with a 50% discount for anyone who decides to buy. The free-to-play time began earlier today and runs through this Sunday, November 12th at 4 PM EST/1 PM PST. The sale price, which reduces the game to $15, will last an additional two days until Tuesday, November 14th.

By now it's no secret that LawBreakers has struggled to maintain its player base, so a free weekend seemed like an inevitability. The game's Steam reviews section is littered with people complaining about the low player counts, so hopefully, the game will be able to gain some traction in what is a very competitive genre on the platform. With games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Team Fortress 2 dominating the shooter space, it's hard for new games to pry players away for long periods of time, if at all.

LawBreakers was initially well received critically, and the official GameZone review scored it a 9 out of 10, calling it a "shot of adrenaline for the FPS genre."

If you're interested in checking out the game, head over to Steam here, and download it.
