Layers of Fear: Inheritance DLC announced for August

Aspyr Media has announced that beginning on August 2nd, Layers of Fear: Inheritance will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. As the name alludes to, the game will feature the daughter of the painter in the first game as she returns to her childhood home. Her father has left both his biggest secret and gift for her, and it's up to you to find it.

It will include some new features as well, including an all new narrative by the daughter. Exploration of the home will also be based on her memories, so will they be happy or dark? Nobody knows for sure. Based on how you play the game there will also be two separate endings.

Layers of Fear is an incredible horror game with psychedelic value that makes you feel like you're playing while tripped out on acid. Colors bleed from paintings and rooms spontaneously change from one setting to another as you explore the depths of the painter's insanity.
