Layoffs At High Voltage Software Confirmed

High Voltage Software has laid off 25 employees, the studio confirmed.

It was rumored today that High Voltage Studios, makers of the Conduit and the upcoming Conduit 2 for the Wii, had laid off β€œat least 20 employees.” The reports have since been confirmed by a representative for the company who spoke with IGN.

β€œI can confirm that High Voltage Software has reduced some of our staffing based on our current production requirements and predictions of what is needed for the remainder of 2010,” said the representative who spoke with the gaming site.

For now, the studio has said that they do not expect additional cuts.
