‘League of Extraordinary Gentlemen’ to get reboot from Fox

Hollywood can't let anything die.

Thirteen years ago, the graphic novel League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was adapted into a film starring Sean Connery's as Allan Quatermain. It was the film the essentially ended Connery's live action career, since then, the actor has not appeared in a live action film.

It appears as though Fox isn't ready to let go of the dream that is The League of Extraordinary gentlemen. According to Variety, the film is getting a reboot with Jayson Rothwell writing the script and John Davis on board to produce it.

Set in the Victorian-era the graphic novel (and film adaption) focused on Captain Nemo, Mina Murray, the Invisible Man, Dr. Jekyll (and Mr. Hyde) and more teaming up to fight a number od enemies. No release window for the film was given, but then again, there's no script, actors or a director yet either.
