League of Legend’s ‘Rise of the Bots’ makes for a new co-op experience

Once again Riot Games has looked towards their MOBA League of Legends and their AI / co-op mode.  There was no official release date, but the ‘Rise of the Bots’ is coming soon.  This patch will raise the AI of all bots while adding more to the game’s co-op vs. AI option.  With this patch, there will be a total of 40 bots to play against.

So what do more bots mean?  More options allow you and your friends to play against a wider variety of enemy bot team compositions.  This allows for more strategy and more ground to use different builds against a larger array of team comps.  Now when a player wants to try out a new character or different items, they can with better AI opponents before playing against humans.

Additionally, all of the 40 bots can also be used in the Dominion game mode instead of just Summoner’s Rift.  Now summoners can try out their skills vs. more intelligent bots in the Crystal Scar.

Check out the official video below and prepare for a new LoL experience.
