The fans have spoken and your League of Legends all-star teams have been decided. As is tradition in regular sports, League of Legends will take a mid-season break for entertaining festivities that acknowledge the best players from North America, Europe, China, Korea, and Southeast Asia/Taiwan. Between May 24 and May 26, these best players will compete in team and individual events, and when it's all said and done we'll finally know the most dominant League of Legends region.
Fans will gather in a 10,000-person arena to celebrate League of Legends, and enjoy intense matches featuring the all-star teams battling to earn their respective region an additional spot in the Season 3 World Championship. The top four teams will earn their region a first round bye in the World Championship.
In addition to the team-based battles, individual skill-based events will finally answer the most speculated question: which individual players are at the top of their respective positions? Players from each position will square off against one another in an individual tournament, all in order to say they are the best individual competitor in the world.
The League of Legends all-star weekend will take place in the Shanghai Grand Stage in China between May 24 and May 26. You can keep track of all the festivities here.
