League of Legends servers down as Riot investigates

Attempting to login to League of Legends tonight? You may have noticed some issues, like you're not able to.

In a server status post a little over an hour ago, developer Riot Games confirmed "issues" with the North American servers, assuring fans they are working on getting it resolved. In the meantime, Ranked Queues have been disabled and if you were affected by the problems you should have a Loss Forgiven.

"We are currently investigating issues affecting our Servers. While we work on getting this resolved ASAP, we have disabled Ranked Queues and enabled Loss Forgiven," Riot said. "We’re sorry for any frustration this may cause."

It appears, based on the Server Status portal, that only the North American servers are being affected. After waiting in queue for a lengthy period, I was able to actually login but encountered several issues including accessing the store and being disconnected from PvP.net on multiple occasions.
