You might have noticed when logging into League of Legends this weekend that Ranked Queues are not available. That’s because Riot has disabled Ranked Queues for the weekend.
Riot Games announced today that they’ve “noticed a couple problems with ranked queues” and that they’ll “be adjusting to help make sure that ranked games are fun and the competitive ladder remains healthy.”

In order to make the changes, the servers must be offline so in order to reduce the impact of these issues on the pre-season, they disabled Ranked Queue.
Riot confirmed, “While the rank queues are disabled, we will be temporarily enabling the ability to play Normal Games with Draft Mode. We will be doing maintenance early next week in order to repair ranked queues so they can be re-enabled.”
