Suddenly, the 500GB of space that comes with the PlayStation 4 doesn't seem like so much.
A leaked image of the case jacket for Call of Duty: Ghosts indicates that the wildly popular first-person shooter will require a mimimum 49GB of space on your PS4's harddrive. Interestingly, this is larger than the 40GB required by the PC version.
The jacket also lists resolutions of 720p, 1080i, and 1080p as well as some sort of compatibility with the PlayStation Vita.
The size of Call of Duty: Ghosts comes not long after Guerilla Games confirmed a final file size of 39.7GB for Killzone: Shadow Fall. With the PS4 shipping with 500GB of space and many next-gen games seemingly hovering around the 50GB size mark, it doesn't look like it will take too much to fill the harddrive. Thankfully, PlayStation 4 owners will be able to swap out harddrives when that limit is reached.
