Leap Motion may be the world's most precise motion sensing technology.
About the size of a small iPod, Leap is allegedly "200 times more accurate than anything else on the market" and "~100x more accurate than any other motion sensing/natural user interface on Earth." In other words, what you can actually buy versus what's out there.
The Leap plugs into a USB port, requires software installation and a quick wave of the hand to calibrate, and can then replace a standard keyboard and mouse. The technology has taken four years and 200,000-300,000 lines of code to develop. It will cost $69.99 at retail.
The video below demonstrates some of the possible applications for the device — including motion gaming. It's expected to ship either late this year or January of next.
