Last month, in a new trailer for Murdered: Soul Suspect we were introduced to a new character named Joy. As it turns out, Ronan O'Connor wasn't alone the night he was murdered; Joy was there. And while last month's trailer gave us a brief look at the character, Square Enix today shared a little more information about this mysterious character.
Joy is a young medium, living alone on the streets of Salem. She is tormented by her ability to see and hear a purgatory filled with ghosts and demons overlapping the living world, and longs for the constant demands from desperate ghosts to stop so she can find peace. When Ronan is gunned down in cold blood, he tracks down Joy, the only witness to his brutal murder. As a medium, she is able to hear and see him, and may prove to be his unexpected and reluctant link to the living world.
Murdered: Soul Suspect is due out on June 3 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
