Legend of Raven 2D fighting game coming to PS4 and Xbox One

The 2D fighter Legend of Raven, originally announced as a PlayStation Vita digital exclusive, is now also coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year.

From developer and publisher Nicalis, which brought the platform-adventure Cave Story to multiple platforms, Legend of Raven will be a cross-buy, cross-play title for Vita (via PlayStation Network) and PS4 so players can face off against each other in real time regardless of which system they're using.

Online multiplayer promises to be lag-free thanks to GGPO netcodes and technology. Local play is also available.

Legend of Raven is set in a futuristic Japan in the midst of a revolution. King of Fighters fighting game artist Kotani Tomoyuki animated the eight characters, and female rock quintet The Dirty Youth contributed the song "Fight" to the soundtrack.
