Lego City: Undercover planned for Wii U and 3DS

Nintendo premiered Lego City: Undercover at their E3 press conference today.

The trailer showed policeman Chase McCain moving around the city. Players can use the GamePad to call for new missions, scan for hidden criminals, and more. The open-world game provides a number of disguises to choose from.

The Lego series has sold over 60 million copies in North America and Europe. More than half have sold on Nintendo platforms.

Undercover is coming to both Wii U and 3DS. No release dates were given.
