As you may know, Lego Dimensions is out this Sunday, Sept. 27 and is Warner Bros. with TT Games' entry into the toys to life genre ala Disney Infinity and Skylanders. There are also going to be multiple worlds available other than the starter pack that you can unlock with those characters and will have you making difficult decisions as in "pay the car note or get some cool Lego?"
In a recent interview with Eurogamer, the people behind the game spoke on just how big they expect Lego Dimensions to get and revealed a three year plan cycle for the rollout of new toys. Mark Warburton, the Exec. Producer, stated that
"We have a three year plan at the moment and we've got no intention of stopping there. We've created the technology to the degree that we're happy it meets our needs for the future. We've created the toy pad so that it shouldn't need to be updated. And we can just create new level and character packs to keep expanding that."
