LEGO Dimensions has released Wave 7 of its expansion packs today with 6 new character expansions. A combination of Team, Fun and Level packs brings a bunch of fun from a lot of classic kid's worlds. You'll have the Gremlins Team Pack, Sonic Level Pack, E.T. Fun pack, Adventure Time Fun Pack, Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them Story and Fun pack.
The Adventure Time Fun Pack, although available now, is only a limited release exclusive to Toys R Us stores in North America. So, you'll need to make a trip if you want to collect all the packs. All Fun Packs unlock the Adventure World for their corresponding property if you haven't unlocked it already, and also provide you the option to use the characters in the new Battle Arena as well.
The Fantastic Beasts Story Pack is similar to the Ghostbuster's Story pack, where it provides you the option to rebuild your toy pad in its design. You don't have to do it as it's merely cosmetic and offers no in game benefits, but you do get six extra in game levels to play through with the pack itself. All of the rest of the packs can be seen detailed below.
They will include the following items:
- Sonic Level Pack – battle against Eggman and Chaos and spin into action as they speed through iconic locations including Green Hill, Emerald Coast, Labyrinth and many more to collect all the Chaos Emeralds. Players can build the Sonic the Hedgehog LEGO minifigure and use his Acrobat ability to swing off poles and avoid the Badniks, then use his famous grind rails move to make a quick escape
- Gremlins Fun pack – Team Pack which includes popular rivals Gizmo and Stripe LEGO minifigures. Each will unlock the Gremlins Adventure World
- Fantastic Beasts Story pack – provides a complete movie-based gameplay experience that is full of secrets and surprises. It includes six action-packed levels and new LEGO Gateway bricks to build the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA) atop the LEGO Toy Pad.
- Fantastic Beasts Fun pack – Tina Goldstein LEGO minifigure
- Adventure Time Fun pack – based on Cartoon Network's Adventure Time with a Marceline the Vampire Queen
- E.T. Fun pack – E.T. LEGO minifigure with Illumination and Fix-It abilities, as well as special Stealth and Telekinesis skills to make his way around the LEGO multiverse. With the corresponding Adventure World, players can build new experiences at Elliot’s house and in the suburbs, throughout the park and the forest, on the BMX trail, and even in E.T.’s spaceship
