Earlier this month, TT Games announced that LEGO Marvel's Avengers has been delayed until January 2016, and now we might have a reason why — the scope of the game is huge.
At New York Comic-Con, TT Games announced that LEGO Marvel's Avengers will expand well beyond a retelling of the story of The Avengers and Age of Ultron to include playable content that also focuses on Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World.
"We’re all huge fans of the Marvel Universe here at TT Games, so we’ve definitely gone to town with what we’re putting into the game on the Marvel Cinematic and Comic side," game director Arthur Parsons wrote on the PlayStation Blog. According to Parsons, you'll be able to play the main story, explore a reimagination of LEGO Manhatten, and even experience places like Asgaard, Washington DC, Malibu, and Barton Farm.
LEGO Marvel's Avengers is set to release on January 26, 2016.
