As promised, LEGO Minfigures Online has officially released, and is now available on multiple platforms including iOS, Android, PC and Mac. The game was released limitedly as a free-to-play game on PC only, but has been transitioned into a one time purchase with no subscription fees.
Interconnected worlds will allow all users to play with each other regardless of the platform they use. This will allow seamless transition for individual players as well who wish to take the game with them on the go. Some of the new features included in this version of the game include voice acting and cinematic cut scenes along with an all new story line.
"LEGO Minifigures Online is designed for LEGO fans of all ages; for those who love online games, and those who have never played one before," said Funcom CEO Rui Casais To make it even easier for friends to play together, the game is playable seamlessly on a large number of platforms and devices, and everyone plays together in the same online world. No matter whether you are playing on a smartphone, tablet or desktop, you will all be playing the same game – together."
The PC version costs $29.99, and includes all content. The iOS and Android versions are priced at $4.99, but include the first world. iOS users are able to purchase additional worlds right away for $3.99 while Android users, unfortunately, have to wait until later this summer.
