LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens hilariously recreates movie trailer

Following today's leak, TT Games and Warner Bros. have officially announced LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

As the name suggests, the next installment of TT Games' fun-filled, humorous LEGO game series will center on December's blockbuster film, which jump-started the new Star Wars trilogy. In addition to chronicling the events in the movie, the game will also feature exclusive playable content that bridgest hte story gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.

The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will have "Deluxe Editions" of the game available, providing access to the main game, season pass, and an exclusive Finn (FN-2187) mini-figure. The PS4 and PS3 versions will also have exclusive content in the form of a droid character pack and phantom limb bonus level.

While most of these details were previously leaked by the Xbox Store, the official came alongside the release of a video which faithfully, and hilariously, recreating the movie trailer.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens will release on June 28, 2016 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS Vita, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS.
