Let’s watch Creative Assembly play Total War: Rome 2

I would love to play Total War: Rome II, but unfortunately the game doesn't release until September. So for now I'll have to settle for watching Creative Assembly play the game (torture!).

Campaign Designer Dom Starr and Creative Assembly's Trish Ryniak have created a lengthy "Let's Play" video showing off the game's factions, diplomacy, and campaign map. The 13-minute video gives just a glimse of some of the complex inner workings of the cities and the built-in diplomacy system which we learn can very easily lead to some sworn enemies. Watch closely as you might just learn a few tips and strategies prior to the game's release.

For those of you who prefer the more action-oriented footage, check out the previously released dev walkthrough of the Battle of Teutoburg Forest.

Total War: Rome II is due out on September 3rd.
