The annual large celebration of the best games is upon us. The Game Awards is taking place next month, December 12th, and public voting is now live. So, if there are games you particularly enjoyed this year, make sure to head on over to the TGA voting website and let your voice be heard.
This year’s TGA shows will crown a total of 29 winners across a vast range of categories. These span the entire gamut of major genres with the crown jewel being Game of the Year ,of course. But there are also more modern categories reflecting the social landscape of gaming, like Mobile Game, Esports and Content Creator. This way, there’s something of interest for every type of gamer.
We bring together a diverse group of game developers, game players, and notable names from popular culture to celebrate and advance gaming’s position as the most immersive, challenging and inspiring form of entertainment. We also strive to recognize those who improve the wellbeing on the community.
Who do you think should win at The Game Awards on December 12? Now you have a chance to influence the outcome! Fan voting for video game’s biggest night is now open, giving you the opportunity to vote in nearly 30 categories.
Apart from the awards themselves, The Game Awards has established itself as a very interesting place for new game reveals. There are also enjoyable live musical performances and celebrity appearances. Even if that doesn’t interest you, they can end up rather on the unintentionally funny spectrum.
Glancing over the last list of nominees, we can’t help but remember what a great year 2019 has been for gaming. With Resident Evil 2 and Death Stranding, two of the most-wanted games fans have been waiting for years finally came out, and to great critical reception, too.
