Life is Strange devs offer emotional support page for players in similar situations as game scenarios

The third episode of Dontnod Entertainment's Life is Strange released yesterday. The episode, titled Chaos Theory, delves deeper into the game's story and the mystery surrounding Blackwell Academy.

For those unfamiliar, Life is Strange puts you in the shoes of 18-year-old Max Caulfield who, with her friend Chloe, isn't just on a journey to uncover some crazy mysteries in Arcadia Bay, but experiencing life. Sometimes that means dealing with emotionally heavy life experiences. Some of the content might even be considered "triggering" content for individuals that have dealt with abandonment, depression, suicide or abuse.

With such heavy topics, Dontnod taken a step towards offering aid to players that find the themes to be triggering traumatic past, or even current, experiences. Dontnod has provided a support page for players that are dealing with similar themes. The link to the page or support lines can be found in various locations throughout the game. The developers have taken a step forward at handling sensitive subjects responsibly.

Good on you Dontnod.

Thanks for the tip, MEGATRUCK.
