Life is Strange Prequel will upscale to 4K for PS4 PRO and Xbox One X

When fans head back to Arcadia Bay and delve deeper into the lives of Chloe and Rachel, before the events in Life is Strange, the game will be more beautiful than ever. That's assuming you have a 4K TV and either a PS4 Pro or an Xbox One X.

Before the Storm producer, David Hein, confirmed that the upcoming game would support features from both the Xbox One X and the PS4 Pro, as in, 4K upscaling and "those sort of things."

Even with Before the Storm being a prequel, players can jump in with the old game or the new one, when it launches on August 31, as nothing in the Before the Storm will spoil anything from the original game.

Meanwhile, Dontnod (the developer) is hard at work on Life is Strange 2.
