Life on the open seas be rough in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag

Ubisoft has released a new trailer offering a glimpse into the adventurous ocean gameplay in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. While a recently released trailer already explored the open-world sandbox nature of AC4, along with its pirate gameplay and naval exploration, today's video is presented in more of a cinematic experience. It's just a taste of the brutal and savage life in the high seas.

Announced alongside today's trailer release was the Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag Limited Edition, which is available for pre-order in North America. Full of a riches and goods, the limited edition version of the game includes an embroidered 28" x 48" Assassin's Creed pirate flag with a crest, an 18" Assassin statue featuring Captain Edward Kenway, an 80-page art book, and the full game soundtrack. An actual copy of the game is housed in a SteelBook game case.

This treasure-trove of riches will run you $129.99 and will be available on Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 29, 2013. It will also be available on PC, Xbox One and PS4, but no date was announced; nor was it said that the price of this limited edition on next-gen consoles would be the same.
