Lifemode Interactive shows off
Lifestudio:HEAD technology in Stronghold 2 at ECTS

London, August 30th, 2004 – Lifemode
Interactive, the facial animation and lip-synching software specialists will be
showing trailers of FireFly Studio’s new game Stronghold 2 at ECTS, using their
incredible facial animation technology; LifeStudio:HEAD 2.6.

The much-anticipated new game being
published by Global Star Software, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive
Software, in early 2005 is going to cause a storm in the facial animation world.
The castle-sim and siege-warfare RTS game Stronghold 2 will bring the series to
life in glorious 3D. A new powerful 3D engine can render tens of thousands of
animated characters on-screen simultaneously and the animation is fantastically
mind blowing!

FireFly Studios, who signed an SDK
deal with Lifemode last year, have been very impressed with all of the
LifeStudio:HEAD functions. “Their software is just so outstandingly good and we
have been very pleased with our end results”, said their managing director Simon
Bradbury. Eva Rukhina from Lifemode further explained; “We are very impressed
with Stronghold 2 animation demonstrating just exactly what our software is
capable of!”

The LIFESTUDIO:HEAD 2.6 facial
animation package is intended for games, multimedia products, animation movies,
TV graphics, business presentations, interactive help systems, distant education
and an assortment of character-based web projects. You can now download a free
demo version at www.lifemi.com

Other recent game projects that have
used Lifemode’s real-time character animation package include Russia’s best
strategy game of 2003 JoWood/Nival’s “Silent Storm”, and one other major
developer in the UK under wraps.

Lifemode welcomes all visitors to
their booth 2260 to preview LifeStudio:HEAD 2.6 and sample their incredible
facial animation technology. Join Eva, Natalie, Yuri, Steve and Mike on the
stand.
