A new trailer for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is all over the internet today. YouTube, video game sites, your mom's favorite organic recipes blog — you name it, the trailer is there. The trailer lets us know that there's only 13 days left until the end of the world, and then it shows us the final journey of Lightning.
There's some good in-game footage of the action-RPG's combat, which looks really smooth, and it also shows off some cool platforming — including jumps and sliding down poles. After watching the trailer, I can't help but think that this might be the best Final Fantasy game that we've seen in years. Lightning Returns launches some time in 2013 on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
