Despite lasting only 13 in-game days, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 "isn’t quite as short as you’d think," gameplay director Yuji Abe told IGN.
Players can expect at least 50 hours of content.
"The way the game moves, one period of 24 hours within the game world itself will take play time in the real world around two or three hours of actual, real time," said Abe. "Having said that, opening menus, customizing your characters, talking to some people, or just listening to certain things will cause time to stop."
Lightning Returns concludes Lightning's storyline from Final Fantasy 13. It releases for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Feb. 11, 2014.
