If your wallet is overflowing with cash to spend on Nintendo related items, then you're in luck. The company has plans to release a line of toys similar to the Skylanders franchise. The main difference? It will feature Nintendo characters, undoubtedly trying to capitalize on the love of Mario, Samus, and Link.
It's reported that the planned franchise will debut this year at E3, which seems like a perfect time to demonstrate its capabilities. While Nintendo's been known to make big announcements over Nintendo Directs, but this seems like a situation where there will be many, many questions.
The franchise, which has been dubbed "NFP" for both NFC Featured Platform and Nintendo Figurine Platform, is expected to be available on both the Wii U and 3DS.
This would now make three similiar toy based franchises: Skylanders, Disney Infinity, and now Nintendo's entry.
I don't understand where people get the money to buy all of these toys.
