Limited Edition replica Gears of War 3 lancers available for pre-order

With that in mind, GameStop has begun accepting pre-orders for an item that hardcore fans of Gears of War are sure to drool for: the replica lancer.

GameStop lists the description of the item as follows:

Dubbed the Retro Lancer during the Lambent Invasion, the Pendulum Wars Lancer Assault Rifle was the preceding model to the Lancer Assault Rift. Used primarily in the Pendulum Wars as the COG soldier's primary choice weapon, it was abandoned about a year after Emergence Day because the weapon was ineffective to the Locust Horde's fighting tactics. However, following the Sinking of Jacinto when supplies started becoming sparse, the Retro Lancer started cropping up in fighting forces once again

For $99.99, fans can nab this spectacular item from video game collectable creators extraordinaire, NECA. The lancer can be purchased in metal blue, electric green, and deadly cute pink. Pre-orders will ship for these 3 1/2 foot long weapons beginning June 1, 2012. GameStop currently lists the items as extremely limited, so fans should jump on this opportunity as quickly as possible before each version sells out.
